How To Prepare Coconut Milk Rice In Telugu:
Tradational and famous rice recipe in south India. Rice prepared with coconut and authentice flavours of masalas. Its is very easy to prepare and rich in protiens and nutrients. Enjoy the preparation step by step in this vedio. Try this recipe and enjoy the healthy food and life.
Ingredients:-
Coconut Milk-400 grms
Basmati Rice – 250 grms
Salt – as per taste
Oil – 1 Tbspn
Cinnamon – 1 to 2 inch
Cloves – 3 no’s
Star Anise – 1 No
Cardamom – 2 no’s
Cumin – 1 tspn
Bay leaf – 3-4 no’s
Cashew – 2 Tspns optional
Onions – 3 medium size
Ginger Garlic paste – 2 Tspn
Green Chilli – 5 Nos
Kidney Beans- Few – optional
Soaked Green Peas – 1 Tbspn
Carrot – 1 Medium size
Coriander powder – 1 tspn
Coriander powder – 1 Tspn
Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
Coriander – few
Pudina leaves – few
Directions:-
• First clean rice and soak for 30-45 mints.
• Turn on the stoce and put Pressure cooker then add oil to that and let it heat.
• Add Cinnamon, cloves, star anise, caramom and bay leaves and for a minute then add Cashew nuts and fry for one more minute.
• Now add chopped onions to it and fry till the onions are transulent then add ginger garlic paste fry till the rae aroma goes away.
• Add chopped chilli, kidnet beans, soaked green peas, carrot and salt, fry for 2 mintues.
• Now add Coriander powder, Coriander powder fry till 1 minute and add soaked rice to it again fry for 2-3 mintues.
• Now add coconut milk and cook for one whistle. Coconut milk rice is ready and can be served hot with any masala gravy or with raita.
